Bloggers uniform

This outfit should come as no surprise to you, if you know me, you know I have long been a huge fan of over the knee boots. In fact I bought my first pair 7 years ago, and I still have them! They are black, leather and have a wedge heel. I cant get myself to throw them away, because I havent seen anything like them again.

But, they arnt exactly work and everyday friendly, so I was super pleased when I stumbled across these suede versions for a nice discounted price at Office. Even the boyf approved – and that says everything! I would also say sorry for not showing off more of a coat variation, but I mean as if Im gonna leave this bad boy, robe like comfy heaven at home when it’s freezing outside.

Im also obsessing over Lydia Elise Millen’s blog, and style. However my bank account is not, and its actually crying at the thought of forking out £500 for a pair of over knee Stuart Weizman boots. What I wouldn’t do to have her wardrobe but alas  I am not a size 8.  The over knee jumper dress combo has been labeled as the blogger uniform of 2016. Worn in various combos by basically all bloggers and fronted by Lydia, the queen of the blogger uniform. Whats not to love though? The outfit is stylish, comfy and you can basically wear it anywhere. Its an amazing way to hide those post christmas roll, and cover up your winter duvet.

But again, my bank account isn’t exactly looking on the healthy side after christmas, and paying £100++ for a cashmere Joseph turtle neck jumper is just a little too far beyond my reach at the moment… or like ever.

So I have improvised. I found this jumper dress at H&M, on sale for £20! I don’t know about you but I call that a bargain. You can pick it up here

The boots are as I mentioned from Office – I snagged them for £60! Im unsure if these are the same ones, but they are pretty similar to the same price 🙂

So bam! There you go, £80 for a bloggers uniform totally less than a Joseph jumper combined. Winner winner chicken dinner 🙂
